WWE WrestleMania 32 Preview/Predictions

First off I’d just like to apologise for not being able to complete my look back at WrestleMania blogs, but 1 – 20 are up, so go and have a look at them! Next year, we’ll definitely see all 32 up on time. Also then just a thanks to you guys for your continued support throughout Mania season, you guys have been great over on Twitter! Your poll results will be used here as well!

The Total Divas (Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Eva Marie, Natalya and Paige) vs B.A.D and Blonde (Emma, Lana, Naomi, Summer Rae and Tamina)

I don’t have a desire to see this match at all sadly. It was an attempt to get all the Divas on the grandest stage, but I would’ve preferred to see a Fatal 4 Way with Brie, Natalya, Naomi and Paige. Although they have got some strong performers like Emma in there, I’m a big fan of her down in NXT lately, and it will be interesting to see how Lana does here. The Total Divas will probably win here, which you guys agree with!

The Usos vs The Dudley Boyz

I’m a little confused why they wouldn’t have gone with a fatal 4 way ladder match for the titles instead of two tag matches, neither with the title on the line? This is another match that I don’t really care about, but we all agree that The Dudleys will put over The Usos.

Ryback vs Kalisto for the United States Championship

Man, I’m really not looking forward to the pre show matches! This has not intrigued me at all for the build up to WrestleMania. A better way to have this would’ve been making this the ladder match, and having a singles match for the IC title between Zayn and Owens. I’m kind of torn of this one though. Ryback could do with the win to make him look credible, but then Kalisto needs the title to remain relevant it seems. I’ll go with you guys – Kalisto.

The League of Nations (Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett, Rusev and Sheamus) vs The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a 4-on-3 Handicap match

Same thing stands as what I said earlier in the tag team match. They’ve also kind of booked themselves into a corner here it would seem because The League of Nations have no credibility whatsoever, so they could do with a win, but why make your champions lose? I can see The New Day winning this one, and The League of Nations starting to break away.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

There seems to only be one winner here in my head. Bray Wyatt. This is what he needs to start to build a bit of momentum. I’d love to see his family (not sure if Harper will be featured) and him just go ham on everyone in this match, and then they step over the top rope and bring in the trophy for Wyatt. Samoa Joe would be an awesome choice to go with as well though.

Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles

It’s a little disappointing to see that there’s no stipulation on this match. We’ve seen these two face off 3 times already, all in singles matches, so why are we getting a fourth? The guys at Ring Rust Radio have even said even a submission stipulation would be good for this one, and I fully agree with them! This will probably start the main show to get the crowd warmed up, and it will be an amazing match. There’s no logic in having Jericho win here, so I think AJ will get his WrestleMania moment here.

Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz vs Sami Zayn vs Sin Cara vs Stardust vs Zack Ryder vs Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship

We saw another multi man ladder match at last year’s event, and sure it was a good match, but why don’t they make the title feel more important and have a singles match, and then bring back the Money in the Bank ladder match at Mania? This would have so much more meaning to it if it was just Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn. Saying this however, I don’t mind them giving others the chance to perform at the biggest stage. It’s not going to happen, but I’d love Ryder to win this. He’s been around for so long, and he seems like such a nice guy out of the ring, I’d love to see it! However I think Zayn wins this. Owens will get his rematch then at Extreme Rules as your post Mania feud. Almost half of you agreed Zayn will be the winner.

Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the Divas Championship

There’s no doubt about it – this will be the best Womens match we’ve ever seen at Mania. The booking before hand has not been perfect, but at least we are all reassured that we’ll see a good end product from 3 of the most talented performers on the whole card. I’d love Sasha to go over here – she’s the best woman they have, and they need to use her properly because she wasn’t used well at all last year. A crazy 74% of you want Sasha to win tonight. I fully expect Bayley to make her main roster debut on the Monday after.

Brock Lesnar vs Dean Ambrose in a Street Fight

Another one that fans seem split on. Everyone wants to see Dean Ambrose get an almighty win over the Beast, but few expect Lesnar to take a fall for him. This will be my match of the night. You can tell how important these two will make this match feel when they’re in the ring together. I don’t expect to see any limbs getting chainsawed off, but I’ll be disappointed if we don’t see the barbed wire bat being used. Ambrose winning will mean a crazy push for him after tonight you’d expect. It will be so much better in the long term if Lesnar puts Ambrose over, I’m praying this happens! 65% agree with me.

Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell match – If Shane wins, he takes control of Raw, and Undertaker will no longer be able to compete at WrestleMania

This one has me completely torn. I want to think that they brought Shane back so that he has a long term purpose, but a lot of people have been saying that they think he’s just here to bump the ticket sales. My ideal situation would be to have Shane win, but through interference from Sting. Then on Raw, Shane would admit he was going to lose it had it not been for Sting, and so he’ll book Sting vs Taker one last time at WrestleMania 33. He’d have the power seeing as he owns Raw. I just have a feeling that Sting isn’t truly retiring just yet. There’s no doubt however that this will be just a spot fest, and I cannot wait for it! You guys have actually voted for Shane here, which surprises me. I thought a lot of people were siding with Taker in this one.

Roman Reigns vs Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

I have a bad feeling this will just be boring as hell. I think it’s clear that Reigns will be winning here, but most people have an intrigue as to how he’ll be going about it. A heel turn would probably be best for Reigns. I expect we’ll see him beating Triple H, and then as he’s celebrating, The Rock will come down in support. Reigns then needs to turn heel on The Rock by attacking him, and standing over him to close out the show. This wouldn’t be a bad thing to do.

What I want to happen is have The Shield make a return. Have them beat down Triple H when the referee is down, and then all 3 celebrate with Reigns the champion. Obviously with Seth injured, he might not play the biggest part, but he could still be an on screen presence for Reigns and Ambrose without wrestling. I would mark the hell out if this was to happen, it would be a brilliant way to close out the show!

Thanks for reading this one guys, it’s probably not the best post I’ve done seeing as I’m so damn tired.  Let me know your predictions for tonight over on Twitter (@ImThatWWEGuy), and I hope you enjoy your WrestleMania night!
