Neville and The Lucha Dragons vs The Cosmic Wasteland (Stardust and the Ascension)
This has been a very pointless feud in my eyes. WWE have tried to put 6 talented guys together, but it just seems a bit too much. Neville and Stardust should have a higher class feud – they’re both so talented! The Cosmic Wasteland will probably win this, purely because they actually seem like a stable.
Dolph Ziggler vs Rusev
With Lana out injured now, they won’t have the mixed tag match for another 3 months, at least. I can’t bare to watch this feud for the long! I don’t really have a lot of interest in this, and I never really have. I hope Ziggler wins this though. Again, another guy who deserves to be in a higher end feud. I’d like to see a heel turn from him soon too.
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and a mystery partner vs The Wyatt Family
I’ve actually enjoyed seeing this feud since SummerSlam. The introduction of Braun Strowman has been a welcome change in my eyes. It’s so much more impactful when we haven’t seen them week in, week out on NXT! That’s not to say that I think he’ll be good in the ring though. As for the mystery partner – I have no clue. There’s been a few names knocking about, but the dirtsheets haven’t really come out with ‘confirmed’ news on who it’ll be. I’d love for it to be Daniel Bryan, but I don’t think there’s much chance of that! I think Reigns and Ambrose will go over here, seeing as they lost at SummerSlam. The problem with that would be that Strowman wouldn’t look as strong as he has done.
The Dudley Boyz vs The New Day for the WWE Tag Team Championships
This has been the highlight feud of the month! It was great to see The Dudley Boyz return on Raw. It was made better that the dirtsheets didn’t pick up on it, because no one expected it. There’s been some golden moments involving the both teams on Raw. The Dudley Boyz will win the championships again someday, but I’m fine with it not being tonight, as we’ll probably see more of this feud! The New Day will retain tonight, and will lose the titles at Hell in a Cell I think.
Kevin Owens vs Ryback for the WWE Intercontinental Championship
I’m glad that Kevin Owens is involved in this feud. They’ve worked well together, but I think Owens and Cesaro could’ve gone a little further. Ryback has not been good as an Intercontinental Champion – he just seems very boring (to me at least). Kevin Owens is a wrestler who doesn’t need a championship though to make himself relevant, in my eyes. Saying that, Kevin Owens will be a much better champion than Ryback will ever be. I think Ryback will continue ‘bringing prestige to the Intercontinental Champion’.
Charlotte vs Nikki Bella for the WWE Divas Championship
I’m also looking forward to this, because it could actually be the end of the team feud going on in the divas division. Nikki Bella is now the longest reigning champion in history, so everyone will be expecting her to drop the title tonight. I’d love for her to win, and keep the run going a little longer. My main problem with this is Charlotte getting the chance for the title. Sasha Banks is way more over than Charlotte, so I’d love to see Nikki win here, and Banks to get the title next month.
Seth Rollins vs John Cena for the WWE United States Championship and Seth Rollins vs Sting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
There’s 3 possibilities for tonight concerning Seth Rollins – He retains both titles, loses the United States Championship, or loses both titles. To me, it would be stupid to drop him down to the mid card with just the United States Championship. I’d be fine with Cena going over early on in the night, and I think that’ll happen.
With Sting, I have no clue what they’ll do. Sting held the record for the shortest WCW World Championship reign, and I can see the WWE booking this again, with Sheamus cashing in. I would only be happy to see this if Rollins won it back though at Hell in a Cell. Just imagine Sting as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion though!
Thanks for reading this guys. I won’t actually be watching tonight, because of College, but I’ll be able to watch it in bits over the next few days. I should be able to do a review for you! Enjoy the PPV guys, and let me know your predictions over at Twitter!
