The Death of El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo
Following the recent match with Rey Mysterio, El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo sadly passed away. There seemed to be a problem when he was on the ropes, about to take the 619 from Rey. It seems that Rey Mysterio could be sent down for manslaughter, which is completely wrong. They were both wrestling together, and they both knew the dangers of the business., and so it is wrong in my eyes, that it could be manslaughter. It was a freak accident.
But this whole story is very shocking for us all. It should be an eye opener for us all. We demand that the superstars these days become more violent, and do some crazy stuff for us, but they can’t. Times have changed now. The safety has stopped everyone getting hammered by steel chairs directly to the head, and jumping off the stage from 30 feet high. It should make fans appreciate what they are actually doing in the ring. They put their bodies on the line for us, every time they go out, and we need to start to appreciate that.
This was a tragic event for the whole of the wrestling community, and my thoughts are with El Hijo Del Perro Aguayo’s family right now, but we can all bring a positive out of this. We need to make the current superstars feel valued, everytime they step into the squared circle, as they’re putting their lives on the line for us.
There has been multiple reports that Samoa Joe is in talks with the WWE. I’d love to see him shock everyone on the first Raw after WrestleMania. It would be great to see him and Daniel Bryan going through a feud for the Intercontinental Championship, or him and Brock Lesnar colliding for the big prize.
There has been some reports saying that he will be going to sign with NXT before going to the main roster, but I don’t want that to happen. The WWE’s focus has been to heavy on NXT, and not the main roster. This is clearly making some superstars very annoyed, and could end up biting them in the ass. Samoa Joe is an experienced wrestler who has wrestled the best in the business already, so the move to NXT would not make sense to me.
Possible YouTube Channel?
I’ve been thinking for a few months now, to maybe start a new YouTube channel. I’ve been having a lot of fun with my blog, and thought that I might be able to branch out to making videos for you guys. My main focus is my college work right now, so it woun’t be a for a fair amount of time, but what would you guys like to see come from me in the future? Let me know on twitter @ImThatWWEGuy!
Look back on WrestleMania series and any future blog posts
I started doing this before my laptop got stolen. As some of you would know, I was looking back at all 30 WrestleManias, and ranking them for you. This stopped after WM3 unfortunately. It got a pretty good response, and so I was thinking of maybe doing some more in the future? With the WWE Network, I can watch any old PPV, so let me know if you want to see my views on one of them, or even any top 10 lists for you guys. I will be over at my twitter @ImThatWWEGuy. Thanks for reading this short one guys, I’ll put up my WrestleMania 31 predictions later in the week!
