Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback vs Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show
I can’t really say I’m looking forward to this one. It has no real significance and to me, it seems like it would fit well in the pre-show (I’m not even sure if there is one?). There is nothing to get behind here. Neither team is going out to get the others fired or anything like the Survivor Series match up, so there seems no real point to it.
I’m not too sure who will come out winner in this one. Either way, I think that the ‘rivalry’ will soon die out after Fast Lane. For the sake of this, I’m going to go for an authority win, due to some distraction by J&J.
Goldust vs Stardust
We all saw this match up coming – but at Wrestlemania. It seems very rushed to put this in as we haven’t even seen the reaction that Goldust has in response to Stardust’s attack. This match would be better at Wrestlemania, purely because it will give the rivalry more time to grow.
Stardust will come out on top in this one. Their rivalry will continue and culminate at Wrestlemania 31, where Goldust will retire from the WWE, after a win.
The Usos vs Tyson Kidd and Cesaro
This feud has gotten very boring very quickly for my liking. We have seen far too many matches between them in such a small amount of time. WWE have tried to shake things up by having singles matches and mixed tag matches between the two sides, but it’s dragged on for me.
I’m not really a fan of The Usos and so I want to see Tyson Kidd and Cesaro as tag team champions. This is purely because this feud has gone on too long, and both teams need to move on. Kidd and Cesaro will win the tag titles one day, so I’d rather it now than in the future.
Bad News Barrett vs Dean Ambrose
The build up to this feud is the complete opposite to The Usos and Kidd and Cesaro. We haven’t seen these two directly fight each other in a while, but we are all still looking forward to it. This proves how the WWE can use more of their roster on Raw and SmackDown to help feuds progress.
I’m not too sure how this one will pan out. Dean Ambrose has had the momentum going into it, but Barrett is always tough to beat. I’m going to go with a Dean Ambrose win here, but I’m not too sure at all!
Triple H and Sting
There isn’t really too much to say on this one. They’ll both agree to a match a Wrestlemania, and then one will beat the other up. I think it might be Triple H who will get one up on the vigilante.
Rusev vs John Cena
This match up seems to cement John Cena’s stay in the midcard for a while. He is going for a lower ranked title in the United States Championship. The build up to this has started to pick up for the last 2 weeks, after both randomly came together after the Royal Rumble.
I think that the WWE are keeping Rusev’s first loss for Wrestlemania, so I expect the Russian to come on top in this one. John Cena will make it seem like a close match up like he always does though, which could lead to an entertaining end to end fight. John Cena might win by disqualification, or count out, but Rusev will leave Fast Lane keeping the US Championship around his waist.
Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan
This one is the main event for the evening, and I must say. I’m looking forward to this one. The WWE made a great build up with the brawl we saw at the end of Raw on Monday. This one will really test the WWE, because if Daniel Bryan doesn’t win, the WWE Universe will be crying about it for a long time! I’m not too sure why everyone has an obsession with Daniel Bryan, it really does annoy me!
I think this one will end in a draw some way. This is because I think the WWE will be too scared to keep Bryan out of the Wrestlemania main event, but they still want to have the Royal Rumble winner in there too. This frustrates me because they need to draw the line, and just go with the story lines they have made. It seems all too easy for them to ship Bryan in when the fans get unhappy.
They need to make Reigns turn heel between Fast Lane and Wrestlemania, that way he’ll have a lot more fans and so a win on the grandest stage, will look better for him. However, it seems Reigns will soon be becoming the poster boy for professional wrestling, so a heel turn would not go with that.
Overall I’m surprisingly looking forward to a couple of these matches. What do you guys predict will happen? Tweet me over @ImThatWWEGuy, or comment down below! Hope you guys enjoyed it!
